President Ahmadinejad to visit Algeria

ALGIERS (Echorouk online) - Iranian President Mahmud Ahmadinejad is expected to pay a visit to Algeria on August 6. The visit aims to boost Iran-Algeria bilateral ties.
Iranian senior officials such as Foreign Minister Manuchehr Mottaki and Supreme National Security Council Secretary Ali Larijani had already visited Algeria last year. President Ahmadinejad was going to visit Algeria in March on his way back from Latin America but the visit was canceled in the last minute. Iranian president and his Algerian counterpart are to hold talks on economic issues to promote commercial ties. Last year the Algerian Energy Minister Chakib Khelil paid a visit to Iran where he was offered help from Tehran for peaceful utilization of nuclear energy
